Introduction to Agricultural Emergencies, Grain Bin Awareness, and Grain Bin Operations Training- Union County

In 2021 there were 29 grain bin entrapments nationwide, with 11 of them being fatal. Last year, seven grain bin rescue tubes were purchased for counties within the task force. Grain Bin Rescue training has been conducted in three counties within the North Central Task force including Union, with more on the way!

Over 30 first responders were trained in Agricultural Emergencies, Grain Bin Rescue Awareness, and Grain Bin Rescue Operations during the course of April 6-10, 2022 at Stoltzfus Grain.
